Dunlop Adhesives, the innovative manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products, rewards merchant for exceptional support of Sporting Year sales promotion

Dunlop Adhesives has recognised and rewarded one of its stockists for their exceptional support of its on-going Sporting Year promotion. The innovative manufacturer of tile adhesives, grouts and finishing products has just awarded £250 worth of sporting goods vouchers to Essex based World of Tiles as a ‘thank you’ for generating the most entrants to the competition in 2008. The independent retailer of ceramic wall and floor tiles, which operates from a showroom in Dagenham, now plans to distribute the vouchers amongst its staff.

Launched in 2008 and currently in its second year, the Dunlop Adhesives’ Sporting Year promotion aims to draw new and repeat users to the manufacturer’s range by capitalising on the strong association between the Dunlop brand and sport. Each year, it offers people the chance to win tickets to some of the most prestigious events in the sporting calendar.

In 2008, the prizes on offer included tickets to the Grand National, the chance to watch a premiership football match, the opportunity to see England take on South Africa at Lords and a trip to watch the Italian Grand Prix in Monza. In 2009, the manufacturer has gone even further.

The first prize up for grabs this year has already been confirmed as a VIP trip to Wimbledon, consisting of 2 nights’ accommodation at a 4 star hotel in Central London, entry to Court One, coach travel to the Capital and transfers from the hotel to the most famous venue in tennis.

Future prizes look set to be of a similar calibre whilst the entire campaign is also being supported by advertising, PR and other marketing activities to ensure maximum awareness and participation.
